9.    CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK: OCCUPATIONAL STRESS:

The occupational stress is the stress which arises out of the working operations which is also called as the progressive stress as the stress is unknowingly generated with the ones occupation.

Major Causes and effect of the occupational stress:

There are several causes of the stress but the majorly the occupational stress is created due to the factors such as Strict policies and Protocols, Conflicts among the colleagues, workforce mismanagement, lack of suggestions and guidelines, personal and professional issues, discrimination, poor management, over work done, meeting targets, and loss of pay and benefits. Certainly these causes for the occurring stress among the employees. These causes of the stress can create the occupational stress but at the same time the causes of the stress can damage the employee relations, hold back the employee motivation, stimulation and the commitment towards their work.

When the employees not able to cope up with these cause they simply expose into the situation where they can get some symptoms which definitely the signs of stress for example, Physical, Emotional or mental breakdown and the individuals must know to deal with these symptoms so that the stress can be avoided. The employees of the organization must know the resistance to those symptoms, which mean that one must know about the balancing, protecting, and fighting with the stress symptoms. It is not always possible to fight with the stress symptoms because the at certain situations the employees can give up because the profession cannot always cause for the stress but personal life can also be cause for the stress, when both professional and personal factors come together in killing the patience of bank employees and creates the complete toxic nature in working the bank employees surrender themselves and burnout their stress in different ways.

Coping with Occupational stress:

The employees succumb with the stress they still can deal with that because there are certain ways to do that. Those are recreating the reasonable work place, avoid discrimination, fight with the causes of stress, avoid irregularity, honesty, diligence, and discipline and most importantly have firm mind, by that the employees can always focused towards the organizations achievements. The most importantly the role of HR department should be more encouraging in order to deal with all the situations and in order to making employees more competent in very harder situations, this shows that the HR department can play major role in reducing the stress level among the employees.

Managing occupational Stress in banking sector:

The on growing stress among the bank employees due to the banking operation becomes very big decease because people finding the medicine for the same. The employee those who faced the stress in the banks, need to help the employees those who presently facing it and yet to face it. The people those who already come up with the occupational stress should help the by explaining the struggle which made to get rid from the stress. The stress in the bank becomes very biggest deal because that is directly affecting the employee performance in organization. The employees of the bank need to be informed that there is no such work pressure in the bank because work pressure make bank employee scared. The banks need to create all the provisions to facilitate the easiness for the employees to deal with stress at any cost. It is not necessary that the bank managers or banks need to concentrate on the employees mental health but the employees need to become the doctors for their stress decease and need to convince themselves to be calm, to take all the things very easily, to be cooperative in any condition of the bank.

From above analysis it can be infer that majority of them are from graduation and post graduate background. This group comprises of the supervisors and desk job employees are more among these employees because of responsibility associated with it. Supervisors have to see that the subordinates perform. Because of banks rules and regulations are very strict to lead their goal banks expects more competencies from employees. So that banks are selected majority graduates and post graduates has an employee.

6.     The 16%of respondents are managers, 24% of respondents are assistant managers, 32% are financiers and 28% are clerk. The above table showing that the type of work of employees the maximum percentage (32%) indicates that the majority of employees are financiers which also leads to have an understanding that the most of people involve in financiers job operations. The P Value is greater than the 0.05, so null Hypothesis is accepted an alternative hypothesis is rejected. This shows that there is no significant relationship between the demographic profile and the causes of stress. And the test result shows that the demographic profile of the bank employees not influence on the stress to occur but instead that there are some other factors other than demographic factors. Hence, the demographic factors are the insignificant for the stress.
