ABSTRACT:
This study is a piece of empirical article which aims to describe the degree to which perceived organizational support mediates the association between emotional intelligence and organizational commitment. For the purpose of the study 50 respondents (ageing 32-52 yrs) teaching in different school of studies of Pt Ravishankar shukla university Raipur were selected randomly. The result of the present study indicates that Emotional intelligence (ß=.19 t = 2.73, p< .00) is positively associated with organizational commitment and hierarchical multiple regression analysis revealed that perceived organizational support act as significant moderator of the relationship between emotional intelligence and organizational commitment.
