ABSTRACT:
This study is an attempt to understand the awareness level and perception of young students still studying about entrepreneurship in general and entrepreneurship education in particular. The study is descriptive in nature and data are collected from 110 respondents in total using a newly drafted questionnaire. Data collected are entered into SPSS and analysed using simple descriptive statistics. The findings reveal a moderate awareness level towards Entrepreneurship and a strong disconnect between entrepreneurship in the real world and what is being taught in the books. Appropriate suggestions are made to make improvements in the level of entrepreneurial education.
